Good morning Red Hat Ladies,
Apologies for the long email but I wanted to update you all on our revamped Little Ferry service. Our services have been curtailed somewhat with the closure of the river channel up by the new pedestrian bridge at Optus Stadium. But as of 25th June we will be resuming our regular ferry service with a few changes… There are three options that I’ve listed below that you may find of interest..
A circle route ferry service connecting Elizabeth Quay, On The Point, Optus Stadium and Claisebrook Cove throughout the day with the skippers providing informative commentary along the way.
We carry only 12 passengers and cruise along in absolute comfort with no pollution of air, water or sound [the unique experience of being on a solar electric boat]. All you have to do is sit back, relax and simply enjoy.
Each leg averages approximately 15 minutes between stops, equating to a total round trip of 2 hours. You can get off at any of the stops and pick up the return part of your journey at a later time or simply stay and find an alternative way home
Red Hatters Special: $22.00pp Return Fare
Morning & Afternoon Tea Cruise
Treat yourself to a Stunning cruise on the Swan River complemented by a scrumptious morning or afternooon tea
This is the most pleasurable way in which to spend a special few hours in the morning or afternoon. You catch the Ellie J, our beautiful solar electric little ferry from its berth in Elizabeth Quay. Our skipper takes you along Riverside Drive, under the causeway past Heirisson Island, the Casino, New Perth Stadium and into Claisebrook Cove in East Perth.
Along the way you will hear a little bit about the history of our river and city. Disembark at Claisebrook right in front of Toast Café where you’ll sit and relax whilst the Toast Team serve you fresh tea, coffee and muffins/cakes.
Take your time, have a walk around and enjoy the gardens and Mediterranean architecture which makes Claisebrook so unique and one of the hidden gems of Perth’s landscapes.
The ferry will be back to return you to Elizabeth Quay two hours after it dropped you off.
